Easter 2010

We had a wonderful day celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and a visit
from the Easter bunny. The weather was beautiful. I had to wake both
kids up. We race the clock every single Sunday to make it to
Sunday School on time.
The loot. The Easter bunny was soooo good to us. Nick said he loved Easter.

Eating a Reece's egg and wearing our new sunglasses.

This is was all that mattered Easter morn. The Nascar IMAX movie.

I have decided to leave the picture taking to the professionals
Neither one of my kiddos would cooperate.

There's nothing more southern to me than a barefoot little
girl in an heirloom dress.
My handsome little man! He's growing up so fast. I am
preparing myself for pants and a button up next year!!

The last two were the best I could get.

They really do love each other.
We hope you had a blessed and wonderful Easter.

T-Ball is Here

We had Opening Day for t-ball a couple of weeks ago. There were 750 players on the
field for the ceremony. We also had team pictures this day. T-ball is not like it use to be.
It's serious business!! Enjoy our pictures from the day.
Having our picture with the Storm Troopers. I don't think Nick knows who they
are. He's so into Nascar.

That's him, #7. This is his new favorite number.

Here comes trouble. Yes, they are on the same team. Nick and Coop.
Notice Nick's battle scar for his fall and red lips. Yes, this will be
in his t-ball picture.

Tim is one of the assistant coaches. He has learned a lot about four year olds.

Can't keep her out of the dirt!! She loves it.

We let him have a snow cone on the way home!!

What's Cooking?

This how I found AK before her bath. She can take her panties off by
herself. She is becoming a pro at potty trainning. Her Dora and Elmo
panties are her favorite. She is doing a fantastic job and wears her
panties all day and has been doing so for a while. It's just hard to take her
to public restrooms! Sorry, for the nudie picture, it's was too cute not
to share.

Guess it's Time

...to update the blog. We really have been so busy with t-ball, church, school, and work.
Blogger and I have a love hate relationship and I hate to upload pictures. So many people
have asked, when are you going to update your blog, I decided it was time. So, here are
some pictures of what we've been up to the last couple of months.

This is how Nick went to the Mardi Gras parades. He made sure he didn't get hit!

AK with Aunt Rachel and Maddie at the parade.

All the kiddos waiting for the parade.

These were AK's valentines for her friends at school.
Nick had Nascar valentines. He wrote his name on
all of them.
Look what Mr. Monte (Nick's hero) gave him.
Tim and Nick have lots of work to do on this.

We spent the day at the hunting camp in Beatrice.
AK is all about helping.
Nick loves to go the hunting camp and get an orange drink!

My two fighting over who gets to drive. Is this what I have to look forward to?
T-ball post coming soon I promise!

Anna Kay Turns Two...

My sweet baby girl turned two on December 19th. We had her party on the the 19th at
our home. I figured there would not be many times her actual birthday would fall on a
Saturday. The party was small with lots of family. I think this was the first birthday
party I actually felt relaxed and enjoyed myself. Tim cooked a wonderful beef tenderloin
on the egg. The menu was rounded out with refrigerator mashed potatoes, sweet and sour
green beans and rolls.
The party stared off with the kids decorating Christmas cookies. I bought lots of icing
and sprinkles and let them go at it. Nick had a great time eating icing. We then ate
and opened presents. After all the presents were opened we had yummy cake and
ice cream. Anna Kay loved being sung to and blowing out her candles. A big thank
you to all of our family for coming and celebrating with us.

The cake.

Eating more icing.

Maddie sampling her work.

Grace decorating her cookie.

A purse!! AK loves to carry a purse.

More goodies.

Needing a little help.

My girl.
It's so hard to believe she is two. She is such a joy to us. We couldn't imagine
our lives without her. She has such a bubbly personality and we can't wait so see what
she'll say or do next. She is a special girl and we love her so much.

Happy Birthday Anna Kay!!

More Birthday Fun...

AK had a pink and green paisley cake. It was too, too, cute.
Her plate was a gift from us this year.
