Apple Turkey and Other Goodies...

Nick's class dressed up like Pilgrims for their Thanksgiving feast.
I asked him if there was any more to his costume
and he said he had a collar. He then told me
that it got torn and was it the garbage! Oh well!!

Here he is in his Pilgrim hat!

We also made apple turkeys at home.

His place mat he made at school.

More apple turkeys.

Turkey Day...

We had a great Thanksgiving Day at home. Both kids had little
colds, so we decided to stay at home. Pawpaw Skip came and had
lunch with us. We had a relaxing and fun day. The kids and I
went on a nature hunt and found lots of pretty leaves. Tim also
cooked his first turkey on the green egg. I think it was a great
success. He did lots of research on the internet!! It was a
blessed and relaxing day!
Hugging on Pawpaw.
The before turkey.
Macaroni is my favorite!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Veteran's Day Fun

We had a great time on Veteran's Day at the "jumpy place".
The weather was still windy so, we didn't go to the parade.
We met the McPherson family at Kangaroo Jumps. The kids
had a great time jumping on all of the inflatables. They also
had a dance floor that my two could not get enough of. We
finished up the day with lunch at Mellow Mushroom.
Both kids and mom were all tired when we got home!!
A big thank you to our service men and women.
We appreciate all that you do for our country.
Happy Veteran's Day
My kids love Miss Leigh Anne. She was so
great to slide with AK.

Cooper and Rollins
Here she goes. Not scared one bit!!
This really worries Tim and I both!!

My little man. He is becoming so independent.

Ready set go!

On the climbing wall.
This is so fun.

Yes, I did take her out kicking and pitching a fit because she
was not ready to go.

Needing a Trim...

Since I am trapped inside for three days (hurricane), I have more
time to blog. AK got her hair cut several weeks ago and I just
haven't had time to post the pictures. Well here they are! She did
great and didn't even cry. She was a little scared at first and had to
sit in daddy's lap. She is becoming such a big girl.

I think she is wondering what is about to happen.
Trying to check it out.

Beauty is so hard.

Bye, Bye Mullet!!
I was scared she would hate me one day if I didn't
get it cut. I was also scared that Miss Jenni was going
to do it for me.
Almost done.
Nick wanted his picture taken too. Getting his hair cut has gotten so much
easier. He just walks back and sits in the chair.

So pretty. I love little girls with short bobs.
That's what we are striving for.

The finished product!!

Halloween Weekend

We had a fun filled Halloween weekend. The kids and I went up on Friday afternoon
to trick or treat with Mattie and Grace. Nicholas had a great time with the girls!
We followed up the night with pizza at their house. Nick always enjoys playing at
their house because they have a cool play vacuum cleaner. Mattie was Cleopatra and
Grace was a tiger. They had super cute costumes. Nick was an Alabama football
player and AK was Big Al.

It was hard to get all four to look at the same time.

We spent the night with Bebe and Pawpaw Bo.
Thank you for letting us stay. On Saturday we went to see Aunt Ruby.
She and Nick discussed who was better, Alabama or Auburn.
We started that afternoon with a full night of more trick or
treating. We paid all the Rigby aunts a visit. Our first stop
was at Tim's Aunt Margaret and Uncle Billy's house. Nick and
AK posed with Uncle Billy's Alabama memorabilia.

Nick with the bear. Several people asked him if he was Joe Namath.
He said nope, he was Nicholas!

Merrill also had her first Halloween with us. She was so cute as a little fairy.
I know we really need to get rid of the paci!!

Nick with Tim's Aunt Emily. She had lots of treats
for the kids!!

My two outside the South Forty restaurant.

Getting lots of candy at South Forty.

Look what's in my bag!
We stopped by Pawpaw Skip's so he could
see the football player and Big Al!

We also made a stop at Tim's Uncle Danny and
Aunt Carolyn's house. She was so great to dress
up for the kids. They thought her clown nose was
so great. She gave the kids great treats for their
bags.
Here we are at Aunt Judy's house.
Tyler and Brianne also came down to
trick or treat with us.
Playing with that silly string from Aunt Carolyn.
The kids used all three cans!!

Our last stop was at Grandmother and Mr. Steve's house for a spaghetti
dinner. The kids at it up. Thank you so much for having us.
It was a great Halloween night. We are still coming off of our sugar high!!
